South Africa’s Diamond, Minenhle “Minnie” Dlamini, is a media force to be reckoned with. With an illustrious career spanning over the years, the Minnie Dlamini brand has grown rapidly – as a highly skilled broadcasting personality, South Africa’s very own It-Girl, and the biggest name in entertainment on the continent.

SA’s leading music show, LIVE, quickly recognized Minnie’s inimitable talent while auditioning in 2010. Her captivating energy, talent and determination propelled her to win the competition, launching her career as a successful Television Presenter in her own right. Minnie went on to become the face of a lineup of stellar TV Shows, including SABC’s Soccerzone, Mzansi Insider, a glittering season of Tropika Island of Treasure Seychelles, as well a guest-judge feature on SABC’s Turn It Out.

As the Queen of Award Shows, Minnie has hosted the most prominent awards in the whole of Africa. This star-studded list includes the South African Music Awards (SAMAs), SA Sports Awards, Miss South Africa, Metro FM Awards, South African Film and Television Awards (SAFTAs), the Africa Magic Viewer’s Choice Awards (AMVCAs), and the highly-coveted BET Awards in Los Angeles, to name but a few.

Minnie’s renowned presence at the PSL Awards cemented her as the host of the prestigious occasion for a further 4 consecutive years. Presenting the 2016 Africa Magic Viewers’ Choice Awards has been another career highlight to date, as the biggest platform in highlighting Film and Television talent in Africa.

As an admired South African Actress and Television Presenter, Minnie has taken the small-screen by storm – with roles in the country’s most established shows, including Generations, M-Net’s The Wild and M-Net’s Rockville. Captivating the hearts of the nation, these platforms provided South Africa’s Diamond Girl with a celebrity status earned faster than any other person.

Throughout her career Minnie has highlighted the importance of philanthropy. Born out of her massive determination to assist young South African girls with receiving access to education, she founded the Minnie Dlamini Foundation. 2015 saw the sponsorship of university fees for 29 students, a huge milestone in her mission.

The success of Minnie Dlamini grows from strength to strength, with her beauty gracing the cover pages of glossies such as Glamour, Grazia, True Love and more. There is no limit to her multi-faceted talent and skillset. The very rst South African to reach 1 million followers on Instagram bares testament to the sheer magnitude of Minnie, an industry powerhouse.
